Florida Chapter of Research
Promoting scholarship, preserving Capitular history, and advancing Royal Arch Masonic education throughout the Grand Jurisdiction of Florida.
The Florida Chapter of Research was established by the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Florida to promote, encourage, conduct, and foster research and study related to Capitular Masonry. Through scholarly publications, educational programs, and historical preservation, the Chapter seeks to spread further Masonic light while preserving the rich heritage and symbolism of Royal Arch Masonry for future generations.
Functions
The authority of the Florida Chapter of Research includes, but is not limited to:
- Publishing annual volumes containing research papers and articles devoted to Capitular Masonry.
- Issuing newsletters and educational bulletins on a periodic basis.
- Establishing Capitular educational symposia and presentations.
- Promoting the study of the meaning, symbolism, history, and teachings of the Capitular Degrees.
- Encouraging research that preserves and expands the knowledge of Royal Arch Masonry throughout the Grand Jurisdiction of Florida.

Meetings
Regular Convocations of the Florida Chapter of Research are held at such times and places as determined by its duly authorized officers.
The Annual Convocation is traditionally conducted in conjunction with the Annual Grand Convocation of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Florida, generally during the month of May.
Membership
Regular Membership in the Florida Chapter of Research is open to any Royal Arch Mason in good standing under the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Florida.
Companions with an interest in Masonic history, symbolism, philosophy, education, research, and writing are encouraged to become active participants in preserving and expanding the body of knowledge of Capitular Masonry.
