The Holy Order of High Priesthood is a distinguished honorary order conferred upon Companions who have been elected and installed as High Priest of a Chapter of Royal Arch Masons. Sometimes referred to as the Anointed Order of High Priesthood, it recognizes those who have accepted the solemn responsibility of leading a Chapter and preserving the traditions of Capitular Masonry.

Drawing its inspiration from the biblical account of Melchizedek, the King of Salem and Priest of the Most High God, this deeply symbolic ceremony emphasizes the sacred nature of leadership, service, and faithful stewardship. It reminds every High Priest that true authority is exercised not through power or position, but through wisdom, humility, justice, and devotion to God and the Craft.

The ceremony serves as both a recognition of distinguished service and a charge to uphold the highest ideals of Royal Arch Masonry. In Florida, the Holy Order of High Priesthood meets annually during the Grand Convocation of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Florida. Membership is open to installed and Past High Priests of constituent Chapters in Florida and recognized jurisdictions, making it both a lasting honor and a continuing fellowship among those who have served in the highest office of a Chapter.
