Proficiency Card Program
Recognizing excellence in ritual proficiency, leadership, and dedication to the Orders of Knighthood.
The Committee on Work issues official Certificates of Proficiency to qualified Sir Knights in good standing whose ritual knowledge and ceremonial proficiency meet the standards established by the Constitution and the Committee on Work.
These proficiency cards encourage excellence in ritual work, preserve uniformity throughout the jurisdiction, and recognize Sir Knights who have devoted themselves to mastering the beautiful ceremonies of the Commandery.
Silver Card
Foundation Proficiency
Awarded to a Sir Knight who demonstrates proficiency in the complete Opening and Closing Ceremonies of an Asylum under the current Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Florida Tactics, including both:- 9-Man Form
- Full Form Opening and Closing
Green Card
Illustrious Order of the Red Cross
Awarded for proficiency in the esoteric work of the Red Cross Order.- Red Border • Master of Infantry / Conductor
- Sword Emblem • High Priest's Part
- Equal Armed Red Cross • Sovereign Master's Part
Black Card
Order of Malta
Awarded for proficiency in the esoteric work of the Order of Malta.- White Border • Historical Lectures of the Five Banner Guards
- Banner of St. John • Marshal, Knight at Table in the West, and Banners of St. John & Malta
- Maltese Cross • Prior's Part
White Card
Order of the Temple
Awarded for proficiency in the esoteric work of the Order of the Temple.- Gold Border • Junior and Senior Wardens
- Black Passion Cross • Prelate's Part (except portions required to be read)
- Cross and Crown • Commander's Part
