Grand Commandery Templar Ball Raises Over $13,000 for KTEF
The Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Florida continued one of its cherished annual traditions on Saturday, August 15, 2026, with the annual Templar Ball held at the Ocala Shrine Club.
Sir Knights, ladies, families, and friends gathered from across Florida for an evening of fellowship and charity, all in support of the Knights Templar Eye Foundation and its important mission.
Raised for the Knights Templar Eye Foundation
The generosity of Sir Knights, ladies, families, friends, Commanderies, donors, and raffle participants made the 2026 Templar Ball an outstanding charitable success.
An Evening of Fellowship and Templar Tradition
The evening brought together members of our Templar family for a wonderful night of friendship and fellowship.
Guests enjoyed a buffet-style meal before spending the remainder of the evening celebrating together and strengthening the bonds that unite Knights Templar throughout Florida.
Adding to the excitement were numerous raffle prizes offered throughout the event, including a Templar sword and many other items generously provided in support of the evening's fundraising efforts.
While the Ball provided an opportunity to enjoy good food and the company of fellow Sir Knights and friends, its greater purpose remained at the heart of the evening: supporting the charitable work of the Knights Templar Eye Foundation.
More Than $13,000 Raised
Thanks to the tremendous generosity of those who attended, donated, purchased raffle tickets, and supported the event, the 2026 Templar Ball raised more than $13,000 for the Knights Templar Eye Foundation.
The success of this year's Ball demonstrates what can be accomplished when our Templar family comes together in the spirit of charity, fellowship, and service.

The Grand Commandery extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who helped make the Ball possible, from those who worked behind the scenes planning and preparing the event to every Sir Knight, lady, family member, and friend who joined us in Ocala.
Special appreciation is also extended to the Commanderies and individuals whose generosity helped make the fundraising effort such a success.
Continuing an Annual Tradition
The Templar Ball remains a special annual tradition of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Florida, providing an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of our fraternity while supporting a cause central to the charitable mission of Templary.
